CRC Carpets

so after using Crc for carpet for my stairs, I am absolutely disgusted with the level of service and after service, or should I say, lack of!! I had carpet fitted through these guys for my stairs. I had arranged for the carpet to be laid after decorating of my house to give it a new look. To my horror, once the fitters had laid my carpet, they not only scuffed and ruined my paint work and damage my wooden banisters beyond the point of being able to touch up, they then refused to accept liability for this damage! I spoke with the fitters, and the manager of the store to get nothing but attitude and lack of ownership and responsibility for the damage they had caused!! This has resulted in me having to now pay out AGAIN, for decorating and repairing the damage they caused. The response I got from the manager was, that it wasn't there fault and the agreement is between myself and the fitter! However, he was the one who sold me the carpet!! They designate fitters for there customers, therefore this is a pathetic excuse to own up and resolve the damage caused! The damage has been caused on the top of my handrail and all up the staircase bannisters! Again, the, managers response was that they don't go up the stairs??? Really?!? How did you fit the carpet from the top of the stairs to the bottom then?? I would not recommend using this company if it was the last carpet shop! If you want awful customer service and lack of care and damage to your property with no ownership and being ignored by the fitters and manager, then I would recommend them. Never have I used a firm that has so much defense and attitude and lack of ownership!! I shall be writing this review everywhere I can so people are aware of this and can avoid additional damage and cost to there property's. There are plenty or reputable companies out there that offer much more reasonable prices and excellent customer service. Please be warned and think carefully before using this company.
